Expansion of the Bělský Les education centre

This project followed on from two already completed projects – ‘Brownfields regeneration – Bělský Les’ and ‘ Bělský Les – tree-planting’; as part of these projects, unsuitable concrete surfaces and roadways were removed, several small buildings were demolished, existing greenery was revitalized and new greenery planted at this former barracks site.

New educational trails were built, and a complete learning programme was devised to accompany the trails (as part of the ‘Forest School’ education programme). The individual points on the trail are equipped with roofed shelters and summerhouses, a system of information panels, displays of plants, and park furniture.
