Drink water from springs, many of them have good water

Many of us head to the countryside for the weekend, often for a hike to the Beskydy Mountains. Fresh water from the wells will come in handy, not only in this hot weather.

Therefore, Ecological Institute Veronica has created a map of more than 1,200 springs. An overwhelming majority include a basic water analysis and all include a brief summary of water quality. Good news: 430 springs provide drinking water for a large part of the year, and 400 springs have non-potable water only for a certain part of the year. The map covers a large part of the Czech Republic and there are also a few dozen springs in our region. Look at the map to see if there are any near your destination.
