Sustainable Land Use
The former hall used for the repairs of torpedo cars along with the neighbouring warehouse of refractory material in Dolní Vítkovice will be transformed into a branch of the National Agricultural Museum.
Both unused buildings will be connected by an annex, which will add a bit of modernity to the project. As its biggest attraction, the museum will include a huge three-story mill built in the middle of a staircase.
The museum will thus find use for yet another unused building in Lower Vítkovice, and it will welcome first visitors in the summer of 2020. The project of the National Agricultural Museum in Ostrava is about to start, also thanks to the designs of architects Josef Pleskot and Milan Šraml.
