Two seminars for the public

Two seminars for the public, where employees of the Regional Authority of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the City of Ostrava provide the public with comprehensive information about the grants, will took place in the City Assembly hall at the New City Hall on Prokešovo náměstí on 8 and 15 April at 3.30 pm.

This year’s third call for boiler grants is definitely the last option for replacing an old boiler with a new one with a contribution from the State, region and the city.

“With the contribution of the City of Ostrava you can get a grant of up to CZK 145,000, which should cover all the costs of replacing the boiler. It is a unique opportunity to replace the boiler virtually free of charge”, said Deputy Mayor for the Environment Kateřina Šebestová and stressed that in the future there will be no more boiler grants.

“Households can purchase a biomass boiler, a gas condensing boiler or a heat pump instead of old hand-filled solid fuel boilers as part of the boiler grants. At the same time, they can use the grant for the treatment of the flue gas path and related construction work, potential acquisition of the accumulation vessel, project documentation, gas connection, tests and equipment tests”, said Šebestová.

Those interested in the boiler grant will receive information at a contact information point. More information about its location and opening hours will be published at www.ostrava.cz and www.zdravaova.cz.
