Tree planting by ArcelorMittal Ostrava

An important contribution to biodiversity was the planting of 111 trees by ArcelorMittal Ostrava, a major local air polluter, in 2008-2009 (cost  6 million CZK). ArcelorMittal agreed this planting with the City as part of its voluntary efforts to reduce its own environmental impact.
