While at Colours, discover Ostrava by bike and help!

From tomorrow Ostrava will host another year of the great music festival, Colours of Ostrava. To help festival visitors get around the city, the Bikes for Africa project offers 400 bicycles for rent. By renting the bicycle, you will support the journey of African children from the Gambia towards education, because the rental proceeds are, in fact, a public collection to support bicycle travel to school in Africa.

Bikes can be rented behind the Heligonka Club in Dolní Vítkovice, and on Tuesday and Wednesday also in Landek Park and the Silesian Ostrava Castle camp.

You can also support the Bikes for Africa project by buying an original bike key ring, by buying the rented bike for CZK 1,000 (festival price), or by buying a limited-edition bike with original design. You can also buy the Gambian children a high-visibility vest.

The festival rental is CZK 350, cashless payments are also accepted. The bike comes with a light and a lock.

• WED 10am – 2am; 9am – 8pm only in Landek Park and Silesian Ostrava Castle camp
• THU 10am – 2am
• FRI 10am – 10pm
• SAT 10am – 10pm
• SUN 9am – 12pm only for returning the bikes in front of the main entrance to the festival outside Heligonka on the right.
